DCBIPS warrior council advocates for the Tribe of Medabankeajetc.

Delap's Cove Black Indian Pioneer Society is a not-for-profit organization representing descendants of the Black Mi'kmaq from Delap's Cove of Medabankeajetc (Little Red Bank) in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia .

​

“Our ancestors who were Panis indigenous, intermarried with the Mi’kmaw nation.

​

This coined the phrase "Black Mi'kMaq also known as the Slave Indians..our shared cultures lived on these lands for well over 200years ,and we still retain the title too the lands."


"We are the voice for our ancestors from past, present and future."
